Frequent tasks

Complete a form here and your email app opens with a finished request — nothing changes until we verify identity.

Change my address

Joint owners: each owner should submit their own request.

Your email app has opened with the completed request — press send there to submit it.

Direct deposit (ACH) — set up or change

We will never ask for your bank details by email, and we don’t collect them on this page — email isn’t private enough for a routing and account number. If you ever receive an email claiming to be from us that asks for them, it isn’t us.

Send the request below and a person will call you, confirm a few details only you would know, and take the bank information over the phone. Please don’t send it now — not typed out, and not as a voided check.

Because payment changes are a common target for fraud, we check identity on every request, and we’ll also mail written confirmation to the address we have on file. If we don’t already have a phone number for you, we may mail you a short code to read back to us before any change takes effect.

Setting up direct deposit for the first time, or changing an existing one? Say so in the note below if it helps — but never include account numbers.

Your email app has opened with the request — press send there. We’ll call you at a number on file to continue.

Update my W-9

A signed W-9 carries your Social Security or taxpayer ID number, so please don’t email it — email isn’t private enough for that either. Download the current form, complete and sign it, then contact us and we’ll give you our mailing address or arrange a secure way to send it.

Current IRS Form W-9 (PDF)

Ask us how to send your W-9 — include your owner number only, not the form itself.

Name changes

Changed your name by marriage, divorce, or court order — or your company or trust was renamed? Email us with your owner number and a copy of the document behind the change (commonly a marriage certificate, the portion of a divorce decree restoring a name, a name-change order, or a certificate of name change/merger for entities). We’ll confirm exactly what’s needed for your case.

Email a name-change request

Deceased owner

We’re sorry for your loss — and we’ll make this as simple as we can. What’s needed depends on whether the estate is probated: commonly a death certificate plus either probate documents (letters testamentary, order admitting the will, or a final decree of distribution) or a recorded affidavit of heirship where there’s no probate. Requirements vary by state and county.

Email us the owner’s name and owner number and a few lines about the situation, and we’ll reply with a short, specific list for your case.

Email about a deceased owner’s account

Change of ownership due to divorce

If an interest changed hands in a divorce, we’ll typically need the complete divorce decree including the property settlement, and a recorded conveyance if the decree awards the interest. Email your owner number and we’ll confirm the specifics.

Email a divorce-related change

Trusts

Moving an interest into or out of a trust, or changing trustees? Commonly needed: the trust agreement or a memorandum/certificate of trust, plus the recorded conveyance into or out of the trust. Email your owner number and what you’re doing, and we’ll confirm the paperwork.

Email a trust request

Sold or transferred your interest to someone else

If you’ve conveyed your interest to another party, email us a copy of the recorded conveyance (assignment, deed, or similar) and we’ll transfer the account. Payments continue to the owner of record until the recorded document reaches us.

Email a conveyance notice

A question about a payment?

Email ownerrelations@jadeowls.com and include three things: the company name on your check (snowy owl, LLC), your owner number, and the check date. Every property is a little different — we’d rather answer precisely than generally.

Something else?

If your situation isn’t listed, email ownerrelations@jadeowls.com with your owner number and a few lines about what you need — a person reads every message.

Thinking about selling your interest?

We purchase royalty and non-operated working interests in snowy owl, LLC properties. Tell us what you own and we’ll respond with a straightforward, no-pressure valuation — and a clear explanation of how we got there.
